Our great friends and neighbours the Levins gave me a 2018 Bike Art Calendar not long after the launch of my second book last autumn. I just peeked at next month's artwork by Sam Chivers and think it captures the joy that biking brings to the hero of my book series Maryn O'Brien! Even though she thrives on competition, Maryn occasionally remembers what it feels like just to soak up the spirit of the "two-wheeled wonder." I too need to remember that sometimes.
