As well as mainstream media, Canada has a number of magazines and websites exclusively devoted to reviewing books for young Canadian readers, written by Canadian authors. Some key sites are run by teachers, librarians and others involved in YA publishing.

The Maryn O’Brien Series has been reviewed and featured in some of those important print and online journals.

Resource Links: Published five times a year, Resource Links is Canada’s national journal devoted to the review and evaluation of Canadian English and French resources for children and young adults. Written by educators and librarians, its reviewers span the country from British Columbia to Newfoundland.

Resource Links gave the series a G Rating: Good, even great at times, generally useful.

You can read their reviews at the links below.
